2010 ATRAA Conference & Exhibition

Alice Springs Convention Centre, Alice Springs NT

The beautiful red centre was the host of this year's ATRAA Conference. Stunning cloudless skies greeted the delegates each morning as they strolled from the various hotels along the Todd River to the Alice Springs Convention Centre. The friendly atmosphere made for a very relaxed conference.

..4 days of conferencing, welcome cocktails, exhibition, site visits, a unique outdoor formal dinner held at the Quarry and some wonderful speakers

Due to limited hotel accommodation room nights in any one venue in Alice, EMG secured four hotel options; block booked and managed rooms for over 600 delegates. This was not without challenges though EMG managed to secure rooms for everyone who needed them.

The registration staff flew into Alice the day prior to the conference to set up and prepare for over 600 small business owners, trade staff, delegates and partners with 4 days of conferencing, welcome cocktails, exhibition, site visits, a unique outdoor formal dinner held at the Quarry and some wonderful speakers and sessions.

Limited flight services meant bulk arrival times so we had to strategically plan staffing levels and coverage for the peak periods. All in all - a unique experience for all involved.
