Sustainability is the ability to provide for the needs of the world's current population without damaging the ability of future generations to provide for themselves.

The Event Management Group is committed to managing the environmental impacts resulting from our activities and to ensuring that these activities are ecologically sustainable while meeting client expectations. We incorporate environmental consideration during the event planning and implementation process without compromising our clients' budgets or outcomes.

Environmental sustainability is a key component of our corporate responsibility approach and our processes ensure:

• Compliance with legislative requirements and environmental aspects associated with our events, everyday business operations, products and services;
• Integrate sound environmental values, principles and practices in all events developed;
• Minimisation of land fill waste by promoting the reduction of waste, re-use and recycling of materials utilised for events;
• Minimisation of non-reusable resources such as energy and potable water;
• Minimisation of carbon emissions and discharges into the air, land or water;
• Promotion of environmental protection amongst staff, suppliers, contractors and clients; and
• Use of environmentally friendly products and technology.

The EMG Environmental Policy is reviewed and evaluated on a regular basis to identify opportunities for improvement, and to reflect the evolving needs of EMG and our clients.
